CNA Certified Nursing Assistant ICF HCHC

The Nursing Assistant performs and assumes responsibility for nonprofessional Nursing duties in the direct care of patients within a designated time frame under the direct supervision of an RN in accordance with established Henry County Medical Center policies. The ages of the patients normally served are neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Exceptions include no neonates in surgery and no neonates, pediatric or adolescent patients in psychiatry. Qualifications Must be a registered Certified Nursing Assistant. Currently license in the state of Tennessee. Not recorded on the abuse registry in any state. Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc. as they may apply. Be able to read, write and speak English. Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, visitors and general public. Possess the ability to work harmoniously with our department personnel.
