CMA/X-Ray Operator Clearwater Clinic

$2,000 Hiring bonus. 80 hours every 2 weeks Day shift working between Monday 7AM-7PM; Tuesday - Friday 7:30AM - 5:15PM. The CMA/Xray operator is responsible for specimen processing, logging, lab/xray test performance, reporting test results, phlebotomy, daily quality control and other test collection. They also work with the other staff members to ensure manual and electronic delivery of result reports. The tech/operator may also do some computer order entry with minimal ICD9 coding, and the release of orders in EPIC. Establishes a philosophy of patient and family centered care into the staff, operations and patient care practices. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Graduate of an American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) accredited school required. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: National Healthcareer Association (NHA) - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or National Association for Health Professionals - Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) certification examination or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) - Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or - for CMA American Medical Technologists (AMT) accredited school - for RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy.
