Cloud Solutions Architect Consultant

Hybrid work schedule to include attending onsite meetings in downtown SLC or nearby offices as needed.
Target Pay $90 - $105 / hour
Job Description:
Will work with multiple departments within a large enterprise organization who are starting to embark on cloud migration projects. You will be in a consultative role advising various departments on their architectural design, and technical cloud challenges. Advise teams on project-based demands related to cloud solutions and implementations using AWS and Azure technology stacks.
Initial engagement will be discoveries into the various departments and assisting with gathering business requirements, and help them translate into technical solutions. Will also help troubleshoot complex cloud incidents and provide technical leadership and guidance for the internal company technical teams.
Required Experience:
- 6+ years designing, architecting and implementing AWS and Azure cloud solutions
- AWS EC2, S3, RDS and advanced networking
- Azure Virtual Machines, SQL Databases, and Azure Advanced Networking
- Cloud automation technologies such as: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager
- Expertise in Cloud Security
- Experience with DevOps practices and other cloud deployment/automation tools
- Bachelors degree in a technical field
Bonus / Soft Skills
AWS Solutions Architect certification
Azure Solutions Architect certification
Google Cloud Platform cloud design / implementation experience
Docker and Kubernetes container experience
