Cloud Services Application Developer

Baer is looking for Cloud Services Application Developer for a 12+ month project located in Chicago, IL.
Title: Cloud Services Application Developer
Location: Hybrid - Local to Chicago, IL (2 - 3 days/week.)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and robust applications within the Azure infrastructure.
• Utilize serverless computing and microservices to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Handle both frontend and backend development, including hosting applications.
• Guarantee that all Azure applications are scalable, high-performing, and secure.
• Build applications with Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and manage identity using Active Directory and other identity management tools.
• Work with business analysts, cloud engineers, architects, and other team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow best practices for cloud application development, including the use of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Develop applications that are highly available and include multi-level disaster recovery plans.
• Build APIs and integrate applications using tools like MuleSoft or similar.
• Offer technical expertise and support for resident RCCB applications.
• Represent the team in Change Management and Change Board activities.
• Document requirements, user stories, technical documents, and training materials.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, C , Java, and experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure AD, ACS, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Log Monitoring services, etc.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and implementation using RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with DevOps, agile, waterfall, and Kanban processes.
• Proven experience as an application developer with a focus on Microsoft Azure, low-code/no-code environments such as PowerPlatform, MuleSoft, etc.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and GitHub repositories.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for Azure, such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Mobile app development experience is desirable.
