Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in managing cloud computing. The role requires expertise in various cloud environments, including on-premise, hybrid, and commercial cloud. The ideal candidate will have a mid to senior level of experience and the ability to mentor junior developers and engineers. The engineer should be passionate about infrastructure as code implementations and have a proven track record in provisioning, managing, and securing cloud infrastructure. Excellent communication skills are essential to interact with various stakeholders, internally and externally effectively. What we are looking for: Five years as a software engineer leveraging large-scale cloud infrastructure as their primary application platform (preferred AWS) Five years of experience working with agile and lean software development practices Deep understanding of modern security best practices for cloud infrastructure and networks Three years of hands-on experience building declarative infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code techniques Extensive experience scripting (PowerShell, JSON, and Python) Successfully transforming large-scale software, data center, and/or on-premise infrastructure programs to a containerized cloud-native architecture Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft Highly preferred: Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Clearance Requirements: Active Secret Security Clearance Work Type: Hanscom, AFB (Hybrid)
