BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
- Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000
- PTO: 2.5 weeks for the first year, jumping to 3.5 weeks after your first anniversary

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust IT systems and infrastructure using Azure cloud services to support our civil engineering projects.
- Migrating on-prem servers and machines to the Azure cloud ecosystem.
- Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure, servers, and storage systems on the Azure platform.
- Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address the IT needs of various departments, ensuring efficient and reliable operations on Azure.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures in Azure to protect our sensitive data and intellectual property.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer, preferably in a similar industry or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services, server administration, virtualization, and cloud-based services.
- Experience with Azure-specific technologies, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networks, and Azure Active Directory.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, specifically in an Azure environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
