Work you'll do As a Senior Consultant within our AI & Data Engineering team, you will design future-state, modern data architecture for transformation at the enterprise level using advanced cloud architectural principles. Using tools such as Snowflake and/or Databricks, they will also work with cutting-edge DevOps technologies, develop advanced analytics products, and apply data and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable key mission outcomes within cloud environments. They will be responsible for collaborating with executive level clients and stakeholders on business needs, creating strategic deliverables including business process assessments, strategic plans, visioning sessions etc. They will also be responsible for leading and driving client sessions and meetings, further developing these relationships, and leading high-priority business development efforts within the State and Local Government sector. The GPS AI & Data Engineering offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights. Qualifications Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or business-related field

Minimum Active Public Trust Security Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain)
5+ years of professional experience
5+ years of professional technology management consulting experience
3+ years of experience architecting and designing complex cloud data architectures on Databricks or Snowflake

Travel up to 50%
Preferred: Master's degree (or higher) in Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or business-related field
Deep, existing client relationships within the State and/or Local Government space
Familiarity with Agile project management principles
Experience with Big Data and Cloud technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,000 - $179,000.
