Clinics Can Help Volunteer Coordinator Who We Are: Clinics Can Help is a nonprofit providing gently used and new medical equipment and supplies to children and adults in need in South Florida. Clinics Can Help is uniquely located in sunny West Palm Beach, FL, just 5 minutes from downtown. It is commutable from the via rail system and/or bus. Clinics Can Help is looking for a Americorps VISTA member who will be focused on building a robust volunteer program. We are looking for the following qualities: - Someone who care about the mission, and the role of volunteers. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Values cultivating interpersonal relationships. -Cares about the details and able to stay on task to completion. -Excited about learning new things. Can take gentle corrective instruction. -Can create a system for keeping on top of big picture goals. -Has a keen sense of responsibility, which compels them to be a self-starter. -Values progress over perfection, can adapt when an idea doesn't work. Minimum Requirements to be a VISTA member: 18+ US citizen, National, or legal resident Able to successfully complete a criminal background check Able to give full time hours commitment Understands that Political advocacy, organizing and/or demonstrating while on VISTA duty or while perceived to be on duty is prohibited. Member Duties : Volunteer Program Coordinator's role will include: - Create a policy/process manual for recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining volunteers. - create a structure/process for tracking volunteer engagement in programs and create a scheduling process for volunteer service. -Interact with the body of existing volunteers at CCH and be accessible to triage their needs. -Be ready to troubleshoot problems, and field suggestions for improvement/engagement from body of existing volunteers. -Perform needed recruitment for volunteer roles, both through online platforms, and through targeted outreach. Acheivable goals will be set, and all duties will be supported with training and collaboration from CCH supervisory staff.
