Internal Medicine Core Faculty - Outpatient

  • The Valley Health System is currently seeking Core Faculty to join our Internal Medicine Program. We are an ACGME approved residency Program for General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine. We are are currently going through the ACGME initial accreditation process for Internal Medicine and expect residents in July of 2023.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine Outpatient
  • Leadership and teaching responsibilities in an ACGME-Accredited Internal Medicine GME program
  • Clear and Active NV License
  • Active Board Certification
  • Proven success in leadership/mentorship of residents
  • Manage administrative needs of a newly established GME program
  • You will join an outpatient clinical practice and conduct clinical care and have dedicated time to lead the Internal Medicine Residency.

Core Faculty of the Internal Medicine Residency Program is responsible for the leadership, organization, operation, and general administration of the Residency Program sponsored by UHS - one of the nation s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, with 400 acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities and ambulatory centers across the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.K. As we continue to grow, we stay focused on making health a positive and local experience.

Core Faculty is expected to integrate the Internal Medicine Residency Program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality, and promotes an optimal environment for professional practice and medical education.
