EveryMind is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to join our Youth and Family Services team. This role provides clinical supervision/consultation to licensed Child & Family Therapists and Mental Health Specialists within school- and community-based programs.

Schedule Structure: M-F in-person.

Work Site: Within Prince Georges County Public Schools

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides Individual supervision to assigned licensed clinical staff.
Instills and maintains a high level of clinical professionalism.
May advise program staff in managing mental health crises when they occur.
Maintains accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of provided supervisions.
Supports and evaluates clinical performance of staff through regular and consistent supervision and completes quarterly clinical performance evaluations of licensed staff.
Maintains client confidentiality according to EveryMind Confidentiality Policy.
Adheres to ethical principles for the practice of counseling and supervision as defined by the Social Work Code of Ethics and the code of ethics of the therapist's licensure board.
Provides group consultation to licensed clinical staff and interns.
Serves as a member of the Clinical Supervision Team and provides feedback to Senior Clinical Supervisor regarding clinical policies, training needs, and staffing or clinical program management issues.
Supports training and orientation of new staff on clinical policies and procedures including but not limited to documentation standards and procedures for managing mental health crises, assisting with psychosocial evaluations, and co-signing clinical documentation of graduate level clinicians.
Monitors compliance and quality assurance of clinical services provided by supervisees including conducting periodic audits of program records (e.g., client files).
Maintains familiarity with data systems used for mental health services to support appropriate billing for mental health services and assist with tracking program outcomes and statistics.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervision to be exercised:

Responsible for supervision at the frequency required by Maryland State Board and/or contract of assigned licensed clinical staff.

Supervision to be received:

Receives supervision from Director, School-Based Services.

Education:

Master's degree in a mental health field. Current clinical license and approved supervisor status (as defined by licensure board) in the state of Maryland (LCPC-C, LCSW-C, LCMFT), LCSW-C strongly preferred.

Experience:

At least three years of experience providing therapy to youth, families, and/or adults. Previous supervisory and people management experience strongly preferred.

Skills:

Excellent verbal & written communication skills and strong knowledge of family systems modalities. Must be detail oriented and able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working effectively as a team player. Supervisory experience, experience with culturally diverse and underserved communities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must be available to perform the duties of the job mostly during core business hours (between 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday), some flexibility with schedule may be available (evening and/or weekend hours). Employee will work mostly onsite but may work some hours remotely with approval of supervisor. The employee must pass a criminal background check. Certain job functions may require employee to pass a child sexual abuse and other criminal activity as well as a credit check. All staff providing services to staff or clients, must be free of illegal drugs and abuse of alcohol, and must be fully able to perform all required duties at all times.

The individual will be required to travel between schools and other service locations. Therefore, the employee must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
