Safe Haven is a housing first program intended to service veterans experiencing comorbid disorders (mental health, substance use or chronic medical conditions) with obtaining permanent housing and build skills that are conducive with maintaining that housing. The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical leadership to residential program staff using trauma informed, harm reduction and client-centered approaches. The responsibilities of the Clinical Supervisor include insurance of program integrity and fidelity, crisis interventions, facilitation of individual and group therapeutic sessions, staff training, and administrative duties. The Clinical Supervisor works collaboratively with other program staff and community partners to develop clinically relevant programming to support mental health and substance use recovery goals.

The Clinical Supervisor will have demonstrated experience with critical problem solving skills, use of evidence based clinical interventions, crisis intervention, overcoming treatment barriers and navigating community resources. Providing crisis support after hours and weekends is required when applicable.

The Clinical Supervisor is required to meet deadlines regarding documentation such as case notes, goal plans and program reporting utilizing electronic record systems. Compliance with Volunteers of America, Veterans Administration and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards is required.
