Position Summary Position manages clinical and community research studies, providing counseling, education and serves as a specialist in Health Care services. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Recruits subjects, manages participation in study, coordinates study procedures and schedules procedures. Provides information, education and support to patients via either physical or occupational therapy. Serves as reviewer for proposals, protocols and manuscripts and participates in development of professional guidelines and policies for care and education. Maintains files, materials and data collection instruments. Compose and submits applications, abstracts and manuscripts, monitors data management and assists with data analysis. Develops and monitors course on management and organization of health care, teach course on Organizations and Health Care. Provides general consultation to department regarding health promotion, disease care, health education, etc. Assists Director with short and long term range planning and implementation of new programs/projects. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, patience and initiative. Ability to adapt program to meet individual patient's needs and work as a team leader. Communication, teaching and organizational skills. Required Qualifications Master's degree in related field with clinical and research experience. Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist or an occupational therapist in the State of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location. Basic Life Support Certification, Level C, or obtains certification within one month of employment. Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements. Grade C13-H Salary Range $32.08 - $49.73 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
