Clinical RN I 3T

The Registered Staff nurse assumes professional nursing responsibility and accountability within a designated time frame for the care and treatment of assigned patients. He/she prescribes nursing care utilizing the nursing process in the development of nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, delegates nursing care based on the competency of the team members, coordinates care utilizing available resources and the environment. Interacts with other health care team members and/or disciplines in accordance with standard nursing practice and Henry county Medical Center policies. The ages of the patients served are pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Exceptions include no neonates in surgery and no neonates, pediatric or adolescent patients in psychiatry. Qualifications Education Level Must have current Tennessee or valid multistate license Required: Associate Degree Preferred: BSN Category: Inpatient medical Relevant Experience: Required: BLS Preferred: 1+ years of Med-Surg experience, ACLS, PALS/PEARS, electronic medical records, CPOE Shift: 12 hour shift rotating weekends and holidays
