Essential Job Functions: 1. Participates in the design, and monitoring of clinical trials; analyzes and evaluates clinical data gathered during research.

  1. Ensures compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives, as well as FDA regulatory requirements.

  2. May assist in report writing and/or perform library research.

  3. Advances expertise through education, training, and/or research experience.

  4. Performs other job duties as assigned or required.

Marginal Job Functions: Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Administrative skills and ability to exercise good judgment, initiative and resourcefulness in making decisions.

  1. Analytical skills to evaluate information, practices and procedures, formulate logical and objective conclusions and make recommendations for effective solutions.

  2. Working knowledge of federal & state regulations, GCP guidelines, HIPAA, institutional policies, and SOPs for conduct of human subject's research.

  3. Demonstrate oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively correspond with the general public, co-workers, physicians, patients, caregivers, clinic staff and other health care professionals.

  4. Display organizational skills and attention to detail so that large volumes of records can be accurately maintained and workload priorities can be determined in an appropriate way to accomplish a task or goal.

  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft programs as well as databases.

Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Major (if required): Required Experience: Five (5) years or more of clinical research experience.
