Responsibilities Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a CLINICAL PRGRAM MANAGER for all shifts to join our growing team. Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 90-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent students. POSITION SUMMARY: Must have a master's degree and be licensed as a LMFT, LPC and/or LCSW in the State of Tennessee or eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. Prefer four years' experience conducting group, individual and family therapy using a variety of treatment modalities. Must be able to compose and deliver educational lectures. Must be able to communicate effectively with other health care professionals, both verbally and in writing. Must have at least one year treating a variety of mental health disorders. Provides clinical oversight and support to designated unit and taking ownership of assuring the integrity of the treatment and programmatic interventions on specified dorm through providing clinical supervision and education to residential staff of their dorm. Creating a clinical model that resonates with the dorm team to include behavioral plans and strategies. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include, but are not limited to, the following)
•  Is responsible for the clinical direction of the assigned dorms, which includes overseeing and coordinating the delivery of student continuing care and family services. Monitors adherence to the program schedule and assists the residential team in coordinating the student's care, ICMPs, behavioral contracts, etc. Provides clinical supervision and education to residential staff that is specific to the treatment needs and diagnoses of students on dorm. Attends and assists in treatment team meetings and clinical /residential staffing meetings. Participates in group and individual supervision. Maintains the EHR for students assigned to their caseload. Communicates with the 3 shifts of the dorm team(s). Assists with mentoring and orienting new therapists to the facility. Provides admissions personnel with ongoing admissions and discharge information. Completes an abbreviated bio-psychosocial with the student within 24 hours of admission or by the next business day. With the multidisciplinary treatment team, identifies treatment goals and objectives that are clearly related to the problems on the Master Problem List, while representing the dorm team's concerns and successes. Goals/objectives are measurable, and time bound. Develop individualized treatment plans for assigned students. As this position is an exempt position the Clinical Program Manager, may find the needs of the dorm(s), require an altered schedule of evenings and/or weekends at their discretion and the needs of the dorm. With the treatment team, identifies interventions that clearly relate to the treatment objectives, and establishes discharge criteria. Completes treatment plan reviews monthly and ensures that progress in treatment is clearly documented in a timely manner. Conducts group therapy sessions as assigned. Ensures that group therapy progress notes are completed according to facility policy. Conducts individual therapy sessions as assigned. Ensures that individual therapy progress notes are completed according to facility policy. Conducts family therapy sessions as assigned. Ensures that family therapy progress notes are completed according to facility policy. Develops and conducts educational lectures for students and/or families as assigned. Completes re-assessments of students. Participates as QA for clinical paperwork. Take rotation as LIP on call as scheduled Is available for LIP in the building during working hours Signs off on daily notes for unlicensed therapists. Works with Mobile Crisis if indicated Reviews treatment plans for unlicensed therapist and signs review.
