Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent position that requires a nurse with specialized skills in internal medicine, rheumatology, outpatient care, multi-specialty clinics, and clinical education. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of patient care in a clinical setting, with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. This role requires a commitment to continued professional development and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care within our outpatient department, specializing in rheumatology and other multi-specialty clinical areas.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. This includes physicians, social workers, physical therapists, and other nursing staff.
• Participate in research activities, clinical investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of advancements in rheumatology and related fields to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.
• Adhere to infection-control protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on rheumatology.
• Proven experience in an outpatient setting and multi-specialty clinic.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. A Master's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Certification in Rheumatology Nursing (RN-BC) or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
• Exceptional patient care skills with the ability to respond to the emotional needs of patients and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to educate patients and families in a clear and effective manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record software and healthcare databases.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
