We are looking for an experienced RN - Registered Nurse/Clinical Manager for our Appleton Special Care Dementia Unit.

  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.

RN - Registered Nurse/Clinical Manager Qualifications:

  • MA licensure as a Registered Nurse - RN.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 2 years of supervisory nursing experience required.
  • Dementia experience preferred.
  • CPR certification as per facility policy.

RN - Registered Nurse/Clinical Manager Job Summary:

  • Assist in Nursing administrative calls by sharing responsibility for backing up on a 24-hour per day, 7 days per week basis.
  • Monitor unit activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
  • Assist Director of Nursing with managing budget.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident/patient activity and ensure resident/patient quality care.
  • Regularly inspect the facility and nursing practices for compliance with federal, state and local standards and regulations.
  • Assist as needed in care plan development.
  • Attend Leadership meetings and assist in coordinating activities of Nursing Service with other departments of the facility.
  • Assist Director of Nursing in the completion of the Incident/Accident and grievance process.
  • Assist in determining the staffing needs of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that quality care is maintained.
  • Respond to codes and other emergency situations, evaluate and document actions taken.
  • May be required to provide direct nursing care to residents/patients.
  • Monitor and participate in the MDS process.
