Clinical Informatics Analyst RN

POSITION SUMMARY: $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for experienced Informatics RN

Reporting to the CNE/VP of Nursing functions as a Clinical Informatics Analyst RN. Assisting in the transition and implementation of the electronic health records system. Responsible for understanding issues requiring clinical problem-solving and communicating corrective measures to parties affected. Will participate in assisting with testing, training, implementation and supporting clinical systems. Ensuring that clinical processes are accurately reflected and supported. Functions as the informatics coordinator of value realization programs such as Meaningful Use and other regulatory and quality initiatives. Supports clinical staff and partners by providing continuous support, troubleshooting, and identifying opportunities for clinical information systems improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, administration, public health, or other healthcare-related field preferred.
Licensure:
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Experience:
Because the majority of the documentation that is automated is nursing documentation, preference will be given to a Registered Nurse with 3-5 years clinical experience and demonstrated ability to plan and implement clinical information systems.
Knowledge of Paragon clinical applications, regulatory standards, healthcare law and finance preferred.
Able to communicate effectively.

PAY / BENEFITS:

•Estimated pay: $42 to $54 per hour (non-exempt) based on experience and qualifications (including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, and licensure where applicable).
