Clinical Health Technology Support Specialist

This mission-critical role will under general supervision, provide support for UT Health's clinical information system users. Jobs in this family are responsible for on-going support and initial troubleshooting encompassing UT Health's clinical information systems. This role provides tier one and limited tier two support for clinical information system related issues and service requests, triage and escalation of more complex issues to the appropriate clinical application teams, and monitoring/updating the technical/application support ticketing system. Guides and advises less-experienced Health Technology Support Specialists. Able to successfully resolve tier one and limited tier two clinical information system issues and service requests in the current health practice environment. Bachelor's degree with 3 years' in an information technology or clinical practice environment. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are exempt.
