Clinical Educator

Activa Home Health, an ACHC Accredited and Medicare Certified home health agency, seeks a dedicated, compassionate Clinical Educator who is a Registered Nurse. Salary - $85,000 - $90,000 PLUS a $5,000 sign on bonus The Clinical Educator plans, organizes, develops, and directs all in service education in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Position is also responsible for staff development and competency of home care clinical staff and will serve as a highly visible and engaged clinical resource to support clinical operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates new employee orientations by establishing goals, coaching preceptors, communicating with department directors, and participating in competency assessment. Develops a comprehensive education plan, ongoing education, training and competency assessment activities. Creates individual staff professional development and remediation plans. Provides opportunities for education, training and staff development in the patient care area. Stays abreast of current best practices and industry trends Must be able to perform functions of a staff nurse, as required Maintains a focus on Quality Improvement and identifies areas of educational need Creates engaging e-learning materials and ensures content is in line with organization's mission. Develops and implements clinical skills development solutions, which will encompass documentation aligned with functional and discipline specific competencies. Provides EMR training Qualifications RN license, state of Florida One year staff development or adult education experience required One year experience working in a Medicare-Certified home health agency Must be tech savvy and have familiarity with utilizing a Learning Management System.
