The Rape Treatment Center provides comprehensive, free services for victims, including 24-hour emergency medical care, forensic services, crisis counseling and longer-term therapy, information about victims' rights and options, and many other support services - all in a special private Clinic dedicated exclusively to sexual assault victim care 24 hours a day. As a Clinical Director you will manage and oversee all outpatient clinical services provided by the Rape Treatment Center (RTC), including adult outpatient individual, group, and family psychotherapy services. In this significant role you will help advance the vital mission of the UCLA Health Rape Treatment Center to bring justice and compassionate healing to victims. We are internationally recognized for our comprehensive services for victims of sexual assault and child sexual abuse, as well as our pioneering outreach and prevention education programs. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with senior leaders for day-to-day problem-solving and administrative quality improvement. Providing clinical and administrative supervision and training of staff. Providing direct clinical services to a diverse patient population. Representing RTC in the community and health system venues. Providing training and education for professionals and community groups. Writing policies and creating and overseeing maintenance of program records related to clinical services. Assisting in fundraising and grant writing; compiling reports needed to fulfill hospital, fundraising and grant requirements. Working collaboratively with the Director and other management personnel to enhance program/services, as well as assisting the Operational Director in overall program development. Continuously assessing and improving the quality of care and trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions we provide. Contributing to the field through professional activities. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is $105,200 - $250,600.00 Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility We're seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate leader with: An active California State license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Master's degree from an accredited School of Social Work or Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA accredited doctoral program. At least five (5) years of post-license work experience within the trauma field, including psychotherapy work and supervisory responsibilities. Advanced knowledge of trauma and sexual assault; including the ability to implement crisis and therapeutic interventions, recognize responses/presentation and common misconceptions about sexual abuse/assault, and the ability to articulate these understandings to sexual abuse/assault survivors, significant others, other professionals, and the public. Successful completion of Supervision training as required by the California Board of Psychology (for Licensed Psychologists) or BBSE (for LCSWs). Advanced knowledge and mastery of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria. Competence in assessing suicidality and homicidality, and the ability to intervene effectively when these issues arise. Knowledge of normative psychological development across the developmental spectrum. Ability to participate in new clinical and administrative projects by conducting chart reviews, literature reviews, research, report-writing, quality improvement projects and other program development tasks. Ability to evaluate potential child, domestic, and elder abuse situations, and knowledge of legal requirements in completing suspected abuse reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to independently write clear and well-organized chart notes and reports for collateral agencies.
