Summary of Duties We have an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Director. The Clinical Director provides leadership, strategic direction and management necessary to provide clinical, operational and administrative oversight of the day-to-day operations for behavioral health, mental health, C&A, IDD service teams, providing integrated outpatient, residential and substance abuse disorder services. The Clinical Director will provide oversight for all Behavioral Health, IDD training programs and is responsible for residential program expansion and community partnerships. Responsibilities: Identify and facilitate professional staff development in conjunction with the Executive Director for Quality Assurance Management. Will coordinate and facilitate weekly staff and case management meetings. Will provide oversight and leadership for to all departments' clinical services provided by clinicians and counselors. Responsible for overseeing and developing the Clinical department including hiring, supervision, evaluation and scheduling. Develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth. Provide clinical training to clinical staff and interns. This position must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the agency and its overall success. This position provides both clinical and personnel supervision of the clinical staff. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills MAINTAIN FUNCTIONS Provide Administrative and Clinical oversight of Adult Clinic Treatment Programs in 6 counties as well as Administrative oversight at Child and Family Services including School Based Mental Health Programs. Necessary to support compliance with existing and evolving standards of care and existing regulatory requirements. Provide direction and oversight of numerous reporting requirements. Subject to irregular hours and on-call responsibilities Qualifications This position requires either a Georgia State LCSW, LCSW-R, LPC, LMFT, RN AND at least 5 year's senior clinical leadership in a supervisory capacity. A doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology is required; licensure in the State of Georgia is required. Minimum of 5-7 years post-licensure as a practicing psychologist/counselor/therapist Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Behavioral Health environment Strong leader and collaborator with proven organizational abilities and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team setting Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Strong analytical skills, computer proficiency and demonstrated use of computer applications, database maintenance and web based technology Willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary Demonstrated experience in and a commitment to diversity, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within Oconee Center diverse communities Must have comprehensive knowledge of Substance Use Disorder treatment, knowledge of recovery and mental health co-occurring disorders. Excellent communication, organizational and problem resolution skills Knowledge in use of electronic medical records Position Requirements Master's degree required (Doctoral degree preferred) 3 years experience as a manager with direct supervision, with at least 3 years in healthcare. Experience with Behavioral Health required. Pre-employment Requirements: Previous experience in mental/behavioral health field. Possess a valid driver's license Submit to and pass a pre-employment: o Drug screen o DBHDD Background check o No more than four (4) points on a seven (7) year Motor Vehicle Report? If more than (4) points an approved DDS course to reduce points must be taken.
