Job Summary

The PRTF Clinical Director is responsible for the management of clinical and clinical/administrative operations of the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). Ensures the development and implementation of evidence-based programming and treatment strategies. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to a staff of mental health professionals who establish and maintain a positive, strengths-based, developmentally appropriate therapeutic milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of the agency. Oversees service delivery and meets all administrative, legal and program requirements as mandated by state regulations and all operating contracts. Supervises residential management who make sure that residential staff have the support they need to ensure schedules and routines are completed and implemented. Oversees Utilization Review and case management. Program oversight to ensure active and meaningful engagement. Responsible to monitor and oversee the residential milieu and to maintain a safe environment in compliance with licensing/accreditation agencies and Woods Services policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Provides clinical leadership in support of treatment implementation and the collaboration of clinical staff with all team members
Oversees the development of therapeutic programming and ensures the development and implementation of evidence-based treatment strategies that are in compliance with best practice guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Ensures that services are provided that are consistent with individual needs, best practice guidelines, IEP directives and all operating contracts.
Provides direct clinical services, as needed or requested, including, but not limited to, development of behavior modification programs, case consultation, therapy, risk assessment, and crisis management.
Conducts intake assessments and participates in the admission process.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Earned doctorate in psychology or closely related field with Pennsylvania Psychologist license required.
Three years' experience in a clinical leadership or management role.
Residential experience preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience in children's behavioral health; preferred experience with autism.
Ability to implement program guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
Must be physically able to provide behavioral support and intervention as needed to ensure client and staff safety.
