Overview Clinical Director Salary range: $90,000 - 110,000 per year (DOE) Sign-on Bonus: $4,000 The Clinical Director oversees the assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and transition planning of all students and their families. The Clinical Director oversees the treatment team and manages therapists. The Clinical Director complete therapist duties of students on his/her caseload. Embark's Stabilization and Assessment program is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescents. The program specializes in the stabilization and assessment of adolescent boys ages 12 to 17 and their families. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Southern Utah and Zion's National Park, our campus in Hurricane, Utah, provides more than just treatment - we offer a warm, home-like atmosphere. Responsibilities Understand, interpret, correlate, and integrate clinical data to drive improvements in client outcomes and satisfaction Act as a resource, mentor, trainer, and supervisor for program- and area-level clinical directors and provide case consults, case conceptualization, and other learning opportunities Become the expert in our available arsenal of clinical assessment tools, master treatment plan, electronic health records (EHR), timely documentation, and admissions and discharge criteria. Create avenues to drive continuous improvement and accountability to key clinical measurements, including but not limited to recurring clinical director meetings, 1:1 or group supervision, and performance management conversations Partake in selection, onboarding, ongoing training, and CEU opportunities for new and existing clinicians. Serve as the go-to problem solver and key leader in improving therapist retention and engagement Provide weekly individual and family therapy sessions for each of the students on his/her caseload. Conduct group therapy sessions as part of clinical team to fulfill clinical and insurance needs for group. Oversee the weekly coordination of treatment with parents, Treatment Team, and Referral Partners. Aid in crisis intervention outside of regularly scheduled therapy sessions as needed. Oversee the creation and adjustment of master treatment plans within the program. Oversee the coordination of the transition plans with parents, Treatment Team, Referral Partners, and outside agencies. Instruct co-workers on disorders, issues and therapeutic techniques, as a part of the company wide training program. Hold weekly clinical staffing meetings and attends managers' and company meetings. Lead treatment team and makes related decisions. Oversee therapists, recreational therapists, nurses and psychologists; hold quarterly evaluations with direct reports therapists and recreational therapists and conducts any disciplinary measures with them. Handle problems or concerns that parents and referral partners have. Hire and train new therapists and provide ongoing training in the clinical department. Participate in marketing tours and meet new admits' families. Qualifications Knowledge of Company Policies and practices (see training manual) Doctoral of Psychology preferred. Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences licensure to practice therapy - Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline Must have at least 3+ years of supervisory and managerial experience leading and influencing clinicians, partnering with operations leaders, and leading in a multi-site or multi-program setting A desire to coach, mentor, and develop clinicians and drive policy adherence, outcomes accountability, and positive change A track record of using clinical data and available tools (e.g. PHQ9, GAD7) through a team approach, elevate client outcomes and experience A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy; experience working with youth mental health preferred Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required Ability to pass a state background check Benefits Comprehensive Benefit Program that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, 401K with company matching, and paid maternal leave.
