Clinical Dietitian I - Clinical Nutrition

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for medical nutrition therapy of the pediatric patient. This individual screens patients for nutritional risk, assesses nutrition needs, identifies nutritional requirements according to age and disease, determines nutritional diagnosis, and develops and implements nutrition plans of care. The incumbent evaluates and monitors the outcomes of medical nutrition therapy intervention and provides nutrition education to patients and families to accomplish patient goals.


EXPERIENCE:

  • Bilingual skills preferred.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or related subject required.
  • Coordinated program in Dietetics, dietetic internship or approved pre-professional practice program required.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) required.
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period.

PAY RANGE: $36.00-$56.00
