Responsibilities The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Pre-Admission Testing services offered to the preoperative patient in the areas of scheduling appointments and retrieving preoperative diagnostics completed outside the facility by interfacing with physician offices. Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Practitioner or Senior Clinical Nurse, the Coordinators perform selected delegated patient care procedures such as phlebotomy and ECGs. Requirements Education and Work Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or GED Medical terminology A minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience Previous experience in performing ECGs preferred Excellent customer service skills; high level of organization in work habits Certification Requirements: BLS Other Requirements: Must possess skills in phone etiquette.
