Purpose of Position

As a Clinical Application Specialist, you'll leverage your technical and clinical proficiency to educate and assist both prospective and current clients in utilizing Tides Medical's cutting-edge medical devices. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you'll demonstrate product advantages, provide training, and ensure optimal system performance, all while managing dynamic schedules and fostering ongoing communication with key medical facility personnel.

Essential Functions of the Areas of Responsibility

Perform the following in accordance with AATB, FDA, and Tides Medical stated policies and procedures while upholding Tides Medical's mission and corporate values.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective and current customers, highlighting the clinical and technical advantages of our device.
  • Provide on-site installation, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the system, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing team on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and users within the healthcare sector.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote our brand and generate leads.
  • Maintain a competitive and results oriented demeanor, focusing on maximizing efficiency and above all, teamwork.
  • Provide support in the clinical evaluations of new products or new product technologies.
  • Keep current on latest practices, uses and innovations in the wound care field.
  • Comply with all applicable HIPPA, FDA and applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, nursing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical application, sales support, or customer service in the medical device industry, or 4+ years experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Experience working in an Operating Room is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the clinical and technical aspects of Tides Medical products and applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% - 60% of the time
