Under general supervision, this position greets visitor and staff, screens and routes telephone calls and visitors. This position is responsible for providing general clerical support to an assigned clinic. Provides administrative support to faculty of Division of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine as assigned. Provides general secretarial support for the division as a whole, as needed to increase efficiency in the office and professionalism and team building among faculty and staff. Position Requirements: Required: High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years clerical experience. Must be: (1) able to type 40 words per minute; (2) file; (3) copy documents; (4) maintain copier, printer, and other equipment; (5) open and sort mail; (6) type correspondence as needed; (7) greet visitors and staff; (8) answer telephone and take messages; (8) monitor and stock supplies. Preferred: Strong background in Customer Service and handling large workload. TRAITS & SKILLS: Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
