Assessment skills for planning and following through with direct patient care. Responsible and accountable for the care given to the patient, obtaining and documenting complete medical history and vital signs. Responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care. Responsible and accountable to know and understand OMC vision, mission, values, standards, policies and procedures. Graduate from LPN school Current License to practice in Missouri BLS Certified SAFE Certified Family Care Safety Registry Annual Skills Lab Prepare patients for visit with Psychiatrist/APRN - includes vital signs, AIMS assessment, education assessment, treatment plan, medication reconciliation, education for patient Lab duties - includes phlebotomy, waived testing and EKGs Field phone calls from patients and pharmacies for refills and patient concerns, communicate with Psychiatrist/APRN and document Process referrals to other providers Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies for medical procedures (i.e. sleep studies) and/or medications Other duties as assigned
