JOB REQUIREMENTS + Education High school graduate or equivalent, in order to have mature reasoning. Superficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the department some knowledge of medical terminology is desirable and would be helpful, but not necessary. Must possess a basic proficiency in English, spelling, and arithmetic. M ust be able to pay attention to details. Must be able to use Microsoft word and excel, or the equivalent. + Experience + None required, but experience in a medical clerical position is preferred. + Physical + This is a safety sensitive position. The rehab office manager must be able to perform the following physical job functions with or without reasonable accommodation: Lift up to 10 lb. from floor to shoulder occasionally. Lift up to 5 lbs overhead occasionally. Carry up to 10 lb., 80 feet occasionally. Push/pull up to 8 lb., 20 feet frequently. Sit continuously for up to 2 hours. Use fine hand manipulation bilaterally occasionally. Visually acuity corrected to 20/20. Tactile discrimination. Comprehensible verbal communication skills, legible written communication skills continuously JOB SUMMARY The office manager is under the general and direct supervision of the department/facility supervisor. Provides clerical, secretarial, and receptionist support for the department independently and with minimum supervision. Performs other diverse duties as requested or required.
