A day in the life

As the Client Relations Analyst, you will have a passion for building key relationships with internal stakeholders and be responsible for all aspects of the due diligence process and related strategic programs as well as supporting our fundraising process. This is a highly visible role within a global team. This function includes the compilation and maintenance of qualitative and quantitative information about the Firm and its co-investment ventures. You will report to the Due Diligence Director and sit in our corporate headquarters located in San Francisco.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete investors' request for proposal ("RFP") or due diligence questionnaires ("DDQs"), managing all production timelines and meeting internal and external deadlines as appropriate
  • Populate and manage content in a centralized RFP repository database
  • Complete industry surveys, consultant questionnaires or other information requests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Interface and develop strong working relationships with all internal subject matter experts across the Firm (fund management, compliance, capital markets, valuations, operations, information technology, finance, legal, sustainability, human resources, etc.) that assist in creating customized RFP responses
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to assist in and respond to any investor questions and ad hoc requests during the due diligence process
  • Partner with fund management and marketing to develop and maintain accurate and current content across numerous investor touchpoints
  • Facilitate due diligence meetings with investors by overseeing the scheduling and planning of the agenda and marketing materials
  • Utilize various software solutions to research competitor activity and support the growth of a global institutional investor competitive tracker
  • Continually work to streamline processes by creating more efficient methods of gathering, sorting and accessing data
  • Participate in fund raising, including meeting and building relationships with investors and consultants

Building blocks for success

Required:
  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in accounting, finance or business
  • 2+ years' experience in a client services, investor relations or finance role. Real estate experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of paying close attention to detail in all touchpoints
  • Effective written communication, able to draft narrative responses and edit professional communication
  • Excellent verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders (including senior leaders) and external clients
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional investor service through proactive and responsive service
  • Must be proficient with all MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to be proactive and work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines in a professional manner
Preferred:
  • Prior experience with a private equity firm, real estate firm or institutional investment group strongly preferred. A basic understanding of private equity real estate investment terms and concepts is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills

Hiring Salary Range of $95,000-$110,00. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
