Desktop Support Technician Level III with Security Clearance

Tyto is searching for a Desktop Support Technician Level III for a complex, multi-year contract to support the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services. This is a SCA position. Responsibilities: Provides system and network support for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance. Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Simulates or recreates problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise. Requirements: 3 or more years of relevant experience. (Network Technician Support, Technical Desktop Support, etc., or other customer service role providing IT and Network Support). Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity. Experienced in performing the following: Troubleshooting Windows 10 operating systems. Interacting with customers to communicate solutions, ticket status and updates. Diagnosing and resolving basic computer and network issues. File share permission best practices. Experienced in troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience working with and troubleshooting unified communication tools such as Microsoft Teams. Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aide. Skilled in providing installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills. Routing and Switching Cisco Certification highly desired (CCNA) Aptitude to learn and grow Ability to work on-site at Pittsburg, PA location.
