The Product Development and Optical Engineering roles are core of revolutionary AR capabilities. These highly collaborative teams are responsible for our organization's engineering and technical operations, performing cutting-edge and complex scientific research and development that is 'defined as we build' to create new AR products, features, and marketplaces.
As a Manufacturing Operator within our Optical Engineering team, you will perform various tasks in a manufacturing setting to support the production process including assembling components, calibrating machines, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper functioning before production begins.
Responsibilities
- Perform 6S activities and to look for safety and ergonomic opportunities.
- Monitors and documents critical process parameters, environmental conditions, and equipment readings within the clean room, including maintaining accurate records, logbooks, or batch records to ensure
- Traceability, process control, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to produce high quality
- material at the required rates.
- Ensures product quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Experience
- 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in a technical manufacturing facility.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- This position primarily works in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. You must be able to suit up.
- Experience in a Cleanroom environment.
- Adhere to all defined safety/sustainability requirements and expectations and seek clarification whenever safety/sustainability requirements and expectations are either unknown or unclear
- Able to safely pick up items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with Google Suite and Windows 10 software.
