Job Description:

The Clean Energy Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting energy efficiency programs by providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. This position will be instrumental in facilitating key decision-making processes within the energy efficiency and demand management programs, ensuring financial integrity, and driving results-oriented program goals. The successful candidate must possess the required educational background and relevant work experience to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Schedule: Hybrid: 2 days a week and on Wed every other week (3 days).

Responsibilities:

Develop annual budgets and review monthly forecasts for energy efficiency programs.

Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.

Ensure accurate and complete allocation of invoice payments.

Create financial reporting metrics and develop a financial dashboard to track program progress.

Collaborate with Corporate Accounting to verify program balances during month-end closing.

Monitor and track the progress and financial performance of energy efficiency programs.

Communicate results to all levels of management and propose improvement suggestions.

Assist in planning departmental budgets, capital budgets, and hiring plans.

Develop annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress.

Support the rate case process by analyzing funding requests and preparing necessary documentation.

Establish internal control procedures and conduct compliance reviews.

Manage projects to enhance financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.

Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Work Experience:

Experience in internal controls, month-end close, financial analysis, and forecasting in the accounting/finance function.

Successful track record of analyzing and visualizing data for reporting purposes.

Proven analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to execute strategic plans.

Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work effectively and be accountable.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups).

Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills preferred.
