SUMMARY: The primary function of this position is to ship, receive, move materials in the roll warehouse and bring appropriate material (roll stock, starch, additives, etc.) to the corrugator. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Promptly, at start of shift, review work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, and prepare for operations and/or check and perform/complete work that is left over from previous shift. Complete safety check of equipment. Unload rail cars and trailers containing rolls of paper (up to 8000 lbs. stacked up to 3 high). Verify and tag/identify rolls of material for inventory and computer entry. Bring full and butt rolls of paper to the corrugator and return unused rolls to the warehouse. Bring other materials to and from their appropriate locations. Assist Corrugator crew and other employees as needed. During shift and at end of shift, clean and/or secure all equipment and machinery, and complete all required paperwork. Perform other work as required. Special projects and assignments as business dictates. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must have earned a High School Diploma, GED, required schooling, qualifying experience or skills. Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to the safety regulations. Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base profile (below) for this position. Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job. Must be able to perform all of the job functions safely. Must meet the company quality and performance standards for the job as specified in the Procedures Manuals. Must agree to wear the proper assigned PPE and shoes approved for this job as specified in Contact and Safety Requirements.
