JOB DESCRIPTION

Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule
Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues or concerns
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
Collaborate with design teams to review schematics and ensure compliance with specifications
Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
Assist with monthly pay applications
Assist with change orders
Assist with delay claims
Assist with bid reviews prior to being submitted
Provide technical guidance and support to construction crews and subcontractors as required

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred
Must have experience in construction site work
Minimum of 5 year's experience in civil construction, with a proven history of successful project delivery
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Must have knowledge of change orders and delay claims
Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes
