Civil Project Superintendent

Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our local operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Heavy Highway/Road Construction and possess excellent leadership skills to effectively supervise and coordinate project activities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand project plans and owner specifications to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

Supervise and participate in securing compliance with contract work specifications.

Accurately take-off quantities and determine material requirements from project plans and specifications.

Prepare detailed resource requirements and coordinate subcontractors on jobs.

Maintain subcontractor progress and verify subcontractor payments.

Prepare and submit schedules, materials sources, claims, invoices, and other required paperwork to owners or general contractors.

Analyze estimates versus as-built costs from the job cost system.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of related supervisory experience in Heavy Highway/Road Construction or a directly related field.

Asphalt Paving Level 1 & 2 certification preferred.

Preferred Traffic Control Supervisor Certification.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Willingness to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.

Ability to complete all required paperwork efficiently.

Must meet company MVR requirements and possess a valid Florida driver"s license.
