Job Details

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a driven individual with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for managing complex projects. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial and industrial civil construction, and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is a must, as well as experience with RFPs and RFQs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Prepare and submit RFPs and RFQs, and conduct contract negotiations.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations, as well as any environmental legislation.
• Use Civil 3D and AutoCAD to design and plan projects.
• Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues that may impact project delivery.
• Create and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in civil project management, specifically within the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience with RFPs and RFQs.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proven problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental legislation.
• Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A team player with strong leadership skills.
