Our organization, a renowned player in the energy industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic Permanent Civil Project Manager with a focus on Solar projects in Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about renewable energy, sustainable development, and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of civil solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all phases of civil solar projects, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Develop project plans, including budgeting and scheduling, and monitor progress against these plans.
4. Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
5. Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
6. Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
7. Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Coordinate with the engineering team on the design and execution of groundwork and earthwork activities.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing civil solar projects.
3. Proven experience in the areas of construction, earthwork, and groundwork.
4. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and solar energy systems.
5. Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
8. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to civil solar projects.
11. Professional Engineering (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
