Position: Civil Project Engineer
What We're Looking For: We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer, specializing in transportation and public works, for our client, a leader in land development design. As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll drive the design and management of critical infrastructure projects essential for community growth.
What You'll Dive Into:
- Design transportation and public works projects, including roads, highways, drainage systems, and sidewalks.
- Conduct precise geometric design calculations for alignments.
- Develop detailed construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate with utility providers to resolve conflicts during design and construction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet community needs.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Obtain permits and approvals from government agencies.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation project engineering or public works.
- Expertise in geometric design principles and relevant software.
- Strong understanding of drainage, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication with technical staff, stakeholders, and the public.
