If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Our company, a leading player in the Engineering industry, is seeking an experienced Permanent Civil Project Engineer to join our Water Resources team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in Environmental Engineering, Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Water Distribution Systems, and Water Resource Planning to help us achieve our goals in water resource management.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Civil Project Engineer in our Water Resources team, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all phases of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from conceptual design through construction.
2. Developing and implementing comprehensive water resource planning initiatives.
3. Designing, planning, and implementing water and wastewater treatment processes.
4. Conducting feasibility studies for the design of water distribution systems and proposing innovative solutions for water resource management.
5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure project success.
6. Preparing and presenting technical reports to stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and the public.
7. Ensuring all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in environmental engineering.
8. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
9. Participating in business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Civil Project Engineer - Water Resources position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment, water distribution systems, and water resource planning.
3. Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and GIS.
4. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to water resources.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work on complex projects with minimal supervision.
6. Strong communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
7. A commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible engineering practices.
