Civil Foreman

Great River Industries Job Title: Civil Foreman Location: Geismar, LA Skills Required: Civil Foreman The Civil Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all civil construction activities on the job site. They will work closely with the project manager to ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on the job site Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Manage and direct the work of subcontractors and other construction workers Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are followed Maintain accurate records of all construction activities Communicate regularly with the project manager to provide updates on progress and any issues that arise Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly maintained and used Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on the job site Requirements: Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or similar role Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, procedures, and standards Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines High school diploma or equivalent; degree in civil engineering or related field is a plus
