This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key member of our highly qualified, collaborative, and motivated team. Our engineering team provides assistance with planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission infrastructure projects as well as stormwater, roadway and site development. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform engineering services, including technical evaluation and design focused on water and wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission. Technical knowledge and ability in applying principles of engineering. Preparation and review of engineering design reports, plans and specifications. Permitting applications and coordination, calculations, and/or other engineering analysis required to produce a set of construction drawings and engineering reports. Perform periodic construction observations of projects. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, proposal preparation, coordination with clients, public agencies, other consultants, contractors, and vendors. SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors in Engineering required FL Professional Engineering license required Minimum 5 years experience Have solid computer skills and experience using MS Office programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exercise initiative and display independent judgment Be self-directed and self-motivated AutoCAD experience Manage various tasks on several concurrent projects and must be able to follow these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned COMPENSATION: SAFEbuilt pays competitive wages and has a strong benefit offering.
