Job Description
AECOM's Transportation business line has a position available in Piscataway, NJ for a Civil Engineer with Highway Design experience. In this role the selected candidate will be working on projects associated with New Jersey Turnpike projects as well as bridge replacement projects.
The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.
Performance of quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Participation in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Mentoring of junior engineers
Development of construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
