Title: Cigna Bilingual Benefit Educator
Initial Assignment Length: 7 Months (Extension is possible based on performance, attendance, and business need)
Benefits : Paid weekly, health, dental + vision insurance available.
Hours: No guaranteed hours - this position is on an as-needed basis.

This position requires driving responsibilities
Candidates must live within a 120 mile radius of the location(s) listed below and be able and willing to commute within that radius. Candidates must have their own form of reliable transportation.
Bilingual in Spanish required for submission
The role of a Benefit Educator is a critical one to the success of our business. As the face of Cigna your primary responsibility is to conduct world class enrollment events that differentiate Cigna from our competitors. In this role you will be educating customers on Cigna's products, services and programs through various formats including, but not limited to formal presentations, Q&A sessions, benefit fairs, health fairs, etc. The expectation is to create a highly satisfying and positive experience for our customers with knowledge, competence and professionalism.
DUTIES
Have and maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License
Have experience explaining and presenting employer-sponsored benefits
Familiarization with Supplemental Health Products (Accidental Injury, Critical Illness, Hospital Care)
Willing to work on an "as-needed" basis (including occasional last minute requests)
Will need to be available during peak season (August-December)
Will need to be comfortable speaking to large groups as well as with individuals 1 on 1
Successfully introduce and educate Cigna benefit programs to all potential and existing customers
Troubleshoot any enrollment or benefit questions and/or concerns
Will need to be willing to travel within the geographic market to cover events
Must have reliable transportation
Will be expected to charge expenses for travel (car rental, air, hotel etc) and will be reimbursed for those expenses
Must have access to email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and cell phone
Must live local to the geographic area
SKILLS:
Knowledge of local market nuances (providers, networks, competitors) preferred
Bilingual capabilities required
Strong Presentation and PowerPoint skills (virtual or in person)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Strong organizational skills
Tech savvy (Webex, Zoom, Skype, and other various applications)
