With ten healthcare centers and eight Women, Infants, and Children nutrition program locations throughout Indiana, we offer primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to community-based patient populations that are diverse in age, educational background, and income level.

IHC in South Bend, Indiana (Bendix location) is currently in search of a compassionate and dedicated Chiropractor who possesses a strong commitment to the principles of Chiropractic care, health, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary skills in building and maintaining relationships, consistently delivering high-quality care, and a genuine desire to effect positive change in the lives of others. A minimum of one year of experience is a prerequisite for this role.

Required skills and abilities:

• Provide comprehensive services that are essential for promoting optimal physical health and preventing and treating stress injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions

• Perform initial patient assessments, taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, and diagnosing conditions

• Collaborate with other on-site providers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and quality patient care is delivered

• Develops and executes personalized treatment plans for patients, including spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and corrective exercises

• Offer patient education and counseling on wellness strategies and injury prevention techniques

• Utilizes advanced clinical reasoning and skills to evaluate and treat complex patients

• Consult with and refer patients to appropriate providers when necessary

• Suggests and applies the use of supports such as straps, tapes, bandages, and braces if necessary

• Maintains detailed patient records in IHC's electronic medical records (EMR) system

• Hourly rate $38.46- $43.07 (Based on education and experience)

Requirements:

• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic program

• Valid Indiana state license to practice as a chiropractor

• One year of experience required, 2-4 years preferred

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

• Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments
