LICENSED TEACHER VACANCY CHILD FIND AND EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIALIST - DISTRICT WIDE Starting Date: July 19, 2024 New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation: New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024. Experience: District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years. Work Schedule: 197 contracted work days Benefits: This position is eligible for benefits including group insurance (health, dental and vision), paid sick and personal leave and elective retirement savings plans. Benefit details can be found here. Salary: The minimum starting pay is $54,184/year and the maximum salary is $92,009/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years). Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office. Qualifications and Expectations: Master's degree from accredited college or university Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Early Childhood Special Education 0-8. NOTE: These are the only endorsements that are acceptable for this position. If you do not hold this endorsement but have been accepted into a CDE approved program that when finished will yield you eligible to apply for a CO teaching license or added endorsement in Special Education Generalist while working under a Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) please upload your program acceptance letter that clearly states you are in a CDE approved program for Special Education Generalist and that the college/university are able and willing to sign off on all TEE paperwork.
