Alliance Medical is offering an exciting role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join the senior leadership team. The CTO will oversee the technology strategy and service delivery across the UK, ensuring the security and scalability of our technology infrastructure. They will keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, working with other executives to align technological initiatives with the company's objectives.

Furthermore, the CTO will cultivate a culture of innovation and ongoing enhancement within the technology department, encouraging teamwork and a proactive stance on problem-solving. Ultimately, the CTO will play a pivotal role in driving the company's future success through strategic technological advancements.

This position is offered as a contract with a fixed term of 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technology strategies in alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care
- Drive digital innovation by identifying opportunities for technology integration and automation
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish technology priorities and roadmap
- Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence
- Monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for technological advancements
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
- Oversee the development and maintenance of technology infrastructure, systems, and applications
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive technology initiatives and projects

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred

- Experience in healthcare industry preferred
- Strong understanding of software development, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
