The CSO plays a major role in identifying, leading, designing and implementing appropriate sales strategies and takes initiative to develop and mentor key sales team members to ensure constant professional growth and execution. The CSO manages sales processes in support of growing sales and profits, which includes the ability to identify and evaluate lottery KPIs, cultivate new business opportunities, research and disseminate industry and market trends and drives new account acquisition. Additionally the CSO identifies efficiencies, growth and expansion opportunities and explores alternative selling channels, optimizes current accounts, reviews and analyzes data and programs, executes new and innovative promotions at retail and attracts, hires, trains and develops top performing sales team personnel.

The position has program management and decision-making authority, as well as planning, budget and supervisory responsibilities. This position is expected to exercise considerable initiative and judgement in planning and carrying out assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or more of the following: Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Administration, Sales Management, or a closely related field. A Master's degree in Business or Public Administration is desired. Qualifying experience can substitute for education. Must have a minimum of five years of professional leadership in sales management, gaming product development and management, product marketing and advertising, and/or public relations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
