About the Job:

  • Manage a portfolio of office, operational and extended executive responsibilities such as managing daily office workflow and staff and liaising between the C-suite office and high-level external contacts.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, learn the intricacies of portfolios and execute on strategic initiatives.
  • Manage projects from start to finish; play an integral role with leadership.
  • Act as a leading proofer of documents, presentations, reports, memos, etc., using excellent grammar, spelling and editing skills. Learn and stay on top of internal initiatives to act as an informed extension of the C-suite and conduct research and analysis.
  • Assist with calendars and daily schedules for leadership, including updates and follow-up materials; prepare briefing materials for key meetings.
  • Cultivate strong cross-departmental and external relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • As an extension to the team, play a critical role in external communication, project deadline tracking, budgeting, document review and compiling various research projects. Understand when and how to delegate across a team.
  • Provide open lines of communication regarding updates on various projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee operational duties to assure an organized office environment and encourage a positive team culture.

  • Fully remote, must operate on Eastern Standard Time working hours, 8:30am-5:30pm as core working hours, with overtime availability.

About You:

  • Experienced. You possess previous Chief of Staff experience or high-level blended operational/administrative support; candidates with Hill or start-up experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Discrete and diplomatic. You have a strong confidentiality radar and exercise courtesy to maintain respectful relationships.
  • Act as a sponge. You absorb all input to best assist the team, yet aren't afraid to share feedback.
  • Strategic. You have the knowledge and ability to create efficient processes and implement initiatives.
  • Business savvy. A commitment to producing quality work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment; experienced Excel skills is a plus.
  • Collaborative and communicative. You enjoy working across a team, extending your assistance to others with grace and moving the needle.
